Know what's in your home.....Indoor Air Quality is important in every home.
We perform Mold Assessments, Mold Inspections and Mold Air Testing We offer independent mold testing services – We do not sell remediation services – This allows us to test and evaluate without conflicts of interests. Our objective is to detect and identify mold – and it's sources.
Mold Assessments and Mold Inspections – This includes looking for visible signs of mold, as well as, areas of water intrusion, plumbing leaks, or any type of moisture or water damage in the past. Because not all mold problems are obvious or visible, we use advanced tools like thermal imaging cameras and moisture meters to detect hidden leaks or damp areas behind walls, in ceilings, or under floors. Moisture intrusion of any kind not only promotes mold growth, but can lead to costly structural damage. Our thermal imaging and moisture meter services are non-intrusive – meaning they do not damage or disturb the materials they are testing.
Mold Air Testing - The term indoor air quality is commonly associated with mold air testing. This air testing procedure is used to detect and identify mold spore types present and their spore count concentrations. This data is compared to a background air sample collected outside the home to differentiate indoor sources and compare common / crossover spores and their concentrations. The numerical data associated with these spore counts determine the severity of the mold issue. Elevated spore counts are associated with physical symptoms and health effects related to mold.
Mold Clearance Testing – This is mold air testing that is performed after mold remediation work has been completed. Ideally, this test is compared to data collected before remediation. If no previous data is available, low spore counts and limited mold types should be detected.
We can also test your home's drinking water for mold, fungus, and biofilm.
If you notice the presence of a musty odor in your home, it may be a sign of mold or mildew growth. This odor is actually MVOC's ( microbial volatile organic compounds ). Mold classifications are allergenic, pathogenic and toxigenic. Elevated mold spore counts inside are associated with a variety of physical symptoms ranging from mild to severe. Some toxigenic (mycotoxins) molds are potent carcinogens that have caused serious health conditions.

Other Types of Mold Tests
Surface Swab Sample – This is utilized when visible mold is present and will confirm and identify mold types detected. It is non-destructive.
ERMI and Mold Armor Home Test Kits – These are broad range mold tests. Results will identify mold spore types but provide very limited information and are a very general mold assessments.
